On November 21, 2022 with his son and siblings by his side he passed away at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco Ca. Charles battled a bevy of medical problems and surgeries over the last 3 years but still had the faith & strength to carry on until his last days.
Charles Edward Gatlin was born on October 22, 1951 in San Francisco Ca. to Willie Gatlin Sr. and Ruby Mae Gatlin of San Francisco Ca. he was the second oldest of 5 children.
Charles was one of the nicest men you would ever come to know; you could always catch him from time to time hanging out in the Bayview Hunters Point District where he would eventually meet the (Love of his Life) Wanda Denise Struggs his wife of 43 years.
Charles is survived by his only (son) Kwane Gatlin (brother) Leroy Gatlin (sister) Diana Gatlin (brother) Willie Gatlin Jr. Charles shared the world with a slew of friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents
