Affectionately known as “Jackie,” he is deeply mourned by his uncle, Mr. Allen Mathews (Cleveland, OH), his aunt, Mrs. Alice Avery (Montgomery, AL), and his aunt, Jaqueline Matthews (Montgomery, AL). He is preceded in death by his mother, father, step-father, and brother. Special acknowledgement goes to cousin Keshia Walker (Atlanta, GA) along with cousins Connie and George Matthews (Cleveland, OH) for their unwavering support during this difficult time. He is also cherished by numerous cousins across various states and friends. Jackie was a proud Navy veteran who dedicated over 40 years to working for BART and the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Anchor Health Hospice (Oakland, CA) for their remarkable care and communication.
